Overview

The IT Core Team Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and technical direction and support to the core enterprise applications. This position will maintain a high level of systems availability and ensure Core system operations are executed properly and on time. The position is fundamental in identifying, recommending, implementing, and supporting technology solutions. The position will lead teams in diagnosing and resolving complex technology issues and requires the application of thoughtful analysis and independent judgment. This position works closely with all departments throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Supervisor the Core team members by providing technical strategy and oversight of process execution, system stability, and process improvements.
  • Mentoring personnel to ensure proper standards are being met and all Core applications are appropriately
  • Measures team success with goals and KPI’s at a team and individual level.
  • Overseeing system deployments, monitoring, and maintenance of all Core systems, including system updates, new feature releases, and regulatory changes.
  • Manage the change rollout to production, test, training, and development environments.
  • Coordinating with critical vendors to meet business demands and timelines.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all core systems. This includes 3rd party integrations, API Interfaces, employee permissions, system configuration, testing, and reporting needs.
  • Leading and participating in various complex projects that focus on improving operational effectiveness, system maturity, and efficiency.
  • Leading meetings with team to discuss progress and issues to be resolved.
  • Developing an in-depth technical knowledge of organizational processes and business requirements while overseeing the design and implementation of process improvements.
  • Overseeing system administration and assisting in troubleshooting to resolve software application issues.
  • Develop and oversee processes to ensure the proper review and monitoring system log files to help maintain the health of all Core systems and report to upper management any unauthorized and/or inappropriate accesses.
  • Provide tier three technical support and utilize appropriate resources to provide proper issue resolution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, specializing in Information Technology along with 5 years related experience in the field of Information Technology.  2 years’ experience managing personnel and critical vendors preferred. Project management experience preferred. Self-motivated individual with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.  Strong technical leader with solid people management skills. He/she will excel at working across various functional groups and organizational departments. He/she will lead a culture that consistently focuses on team development and delivers on requirements and handles complex projects from concept to execution in a dynamic environment. He/she will be a results-oriented individual who thrives at working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with other department supervisors. Knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records.

 

Performance Standard:

Understand and direct computer system and implement resolution to system problems. Make recommendations to meet the goals and objectives of the Credit Union functions, procedures, and policies. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
