Overview

The Senior Web Developer – Marketing is responsible for the strategic planning, governance, and development of Idaho Central Credit Union’s (ICCU) digital presence, including ICCU.com and multiple web properties. This role collaborates across departments to align web development efforts with business objectives, ensuring an effective, secure, and engaging online experience for members.  This position can be located in Chubbuck, ID or Boise, ID.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall governance, performance, and development of ICCU’s website and related digital assets.
  • Ensure website alignment with ICCU’s brand, strategic goals, and compliance standards.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement website enhancements and new web-based applications.
  • Prioritize and manage web development projects, setting timelines and assigning tasks.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing performance feedback and development support.
  • Collaborate with marketing management to approve website requests and development initiatives.
  • Manage digital campaigns and content strategies focused on ICCU’s web platforms.
  • Optimize web pages for security, performance, and responsiveness.
  • Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to improve user engagement and website effectiveness.
  • Oversee SEO strategies and implement best practices for search visibility.
  • Manage digital attribution, user tracking, and tag management for marketing effectiveness.
  • Conduct routine site audits, oversee website maintenance, and ensure ADA compliance.
  • Monitor competitor web strategies and recommend improvements for ICCU’s digital presence.
  • Implement security measures to protect member interactions and data.
  • Represent ICCU at community events as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Web Development, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing corporate-level websites and web strategies.
  • Proficiency in WordPress, HTML/CSS, PHP, SEO, SQL, JavaScript, GitHub/version control, and web analytics.
  • Strong UX/UI design skills for multi-screen experiences, languages, and accessibility.
  • Experience troubleshooting and optimizing web pages for security and performance.
  • Knowledge of network diagnostics and analytics tools.
  • Financial industry experience preferred.
  • Strong business, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

Performance Standard:

  • Maintain a professional and cooperative attitude toward members and staff
  • Ensure high-quality work, reliability, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Develop and coordinate marketing activities that align with member needs and Credit Union services.
  • Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as required by ICCU.
  • Availability for extended or unique work hours as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and transport materials (up to 40 lbs.).
  • Manual dexterity for tasks such as typing, filing, and sorting documents.
  • Prolonged sitting and repetitive hand movements.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, etc.).
  • Local travel may be required; valid driver’s license and adequate auto insurance necessary.

Additional Physical Requirements (Position-Specific):

  • Occasionally lift heavier items (70-80 lbs.), including event equipment.
  • Participate in ICCU-sponsored events, requiring travel and setup assistance.
