 Idaho Central Credit Union’s mission is to help our members achieve financial success. As a Financial Services Officer, you will assist our members with opening accounts, qualifying for loans, and understanding and taking advantage of the products and services offered by the Credit Union.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a strong focus on helping each Credit Union member achieve financial success.
  • Assisting members and businesses with opening new accounts.
  • Interviewing and qualifying members for loans of all types within the requirements of the loan policies established by the Credit Union.
  • Making recommendations to members based on their full financial picture and personal financial goals.
  • Researching and making appropriate corrections for members with account problems.
  • Keeping your manager informed of member needs or desires regarding products, services, suggestions, and/or escalations.
  • Promoting and cross selling Credit Union Services.
  • Notarizing documents as determined by branch requirements.
  • Handling deceased accounts until the accounts are closed or until owner roles are changed.
  • Reviewing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Backing up the teller line, as necessary.

 

Qualifications

 

Before you apply, make sure you have:

  • The ability to use a calculator and a computer.
  • The ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

 

Also, please let us know in your application if you have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • One to two years of sales or customer service experience.

 

This role will also require some physical abilities including the ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies, reach keyboards, and operate basic office machines.

 

You must be eligible for membership at Idaho Central Credit Union to obtain employment.
