Overview

As experienced Salesforce Admin Supervisor you will oversee delivery of our applications and services for our members. This role includes hands-on technical leadership responsibilities and guidance to high performing Salesforce Admin team. You will act as the technical lead for declarative development work, providing guidance and review of all Salesforce deliveries produced to assure quality work is implemented and in accordance with architecture. Take pride in setting the standard for engineering excellence using hands-on approach for pragmatic problem solving that easily balances trade-offs between competing interests. Ambiguity and creativity are both expected and the norm.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and guide administrators' implementation of solutions for Idaho Central Credit Union and member benefit. Ensure that every member of the team is meeting game of work benchmark.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and work is completed efficiently managing team’s stress and happiness.
  • Make sure the team is communicating and always using the right communication channels.
  • Prioritization and project planning with Business Analysts / Project Managers.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance Team (QA) for regression and integration testing of releases.
  • Resolve conflicts and dependency management across projects.
  • Attend regular meetings including daily huddles, RAID log meetings, project retrospectives, and sprint planning.
  • Work with managers and architect to ensure proper architecture and design remains in place and quality code is being shipped to QA.
  • Produce and maintain drawings, blueprints and overall documentation for applications developed in-house.
  • Provide training to Salesforce administrators and/or UIUX teams so they can perform their jobs correctly.
  • Conduct regular reviews of all admins work to assure quality code is being created with detection and correction of issues and security gaps through feedback and support.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the IT team to discuss progress, current and upcoming projects, and issues that need to be resolved.

 

Qualifications

A qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical discipline. 3+ years of experience managing people and/or technical programs. A passion for people management and mentoring. Experience leading highly skilled Salesforce administrator teams. 6+ years of relevant work experience required administiring enterprise platforms.

 

Experience in:

  • SQL
  • Salesforce Flows
  • Atomic

 

Working knowledge of or exposure to:

  • Agile software development
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Software Design
  • IT Security
  • Postman

 

Experience managing customer-facing software systems. Experience developing and executing project plans in collaboration with project managers or business analysts. Deep hands-on technical expertise; prior experience as a Salesforce Admin or Salesforce Admin manager. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences. Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to navigate ambiguity and delivery incrementally to the right direction. A deep understanding of the software development life cycle, and a track record of shipping software on time. Experience designing software for scalability, reliability, and performance.

 

Performance Standard:

Build quality solutions through application development and sound architecture design. Conduct technical (sometimes complex) research with resulting solution and prototype creation. Make Recommendations based on analysis of data, technical condition, and overall systems for new and innovative approaches to solving member and business problems. Build and deploy production level solutions for member use. Prepared to compose many technical documentations, reports, and diagrams. Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
