Overview

 

Responsible for the administration and daily operations of the Consumer Lending Applications. Perform system updates, research, develop, test, coordinate and implement new feature rollouts. Supervisors a team of Consumer Lending Systems Administrators. Identifying new opportunities within the applications to meet Credit Union growth and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise assigned staff, including scheduling; assigning and directing work; orienting new employees; overseeing or conducting training; coaching; completing team responsibility for evaluating and appraising work; addressing complaints and resolving problems taking disciplinary action; and ensuring quality of work.
  • Effectively and quickly identify and resolve day-to-day system issues working with team members and 3rd party vendors.
  • Develop and maintain processes, features, and functionality to continuously improve data quality, process integrity and productivity.
  • Lead the day-to-day administration and optimization of Consumer Lending systems, including deployment of new functionality and enhancements.
  • Ensure that the organization is maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of Consumer Lending systems.
  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflows, and approval processes.
  • Create and maintain system related documentation including but not limited to, architecture designs, security reviews and administrator guides.
  • Understand technical designs and requirements- research, develop, test, and deploy to appropriate environments.
  • Support Commercial roadmap and strategic goals by successfully configuring new features and system enhancements.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Consumer lending applications to ensure that the credit union/members needs are met.
  • Participate as a Subject Matter Expert on special projects providing solutions to business problems, and system configurations according to business requirements.
  • Manage small projects.
  • Adhere to change control policy and procedures.
  • Adapt quickly to changes.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business (or related field) required.
  • 2+ years relevant IT systems or 3+ years Consumer Lending Operations experience required.
  •  1+ Supervisor/leadership experience preferred.
  •  Additional relevant IT certifications preferred.
  •  Project Management experience required.
  • Jira and Agile experience preferred.

 

Performance Standard:

Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Broad knowledge of hardware, software, and programs. Maintain a broad knowledge Mortgage industry. Ability to learn quickly, contribute to a team effort and work on multiple, time-critical projects simultaneously. Logical, process-oriented thinker with a natural sense of urgency. Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical details. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a project team in a cooperative effort. Ability to prioritize, meets deadlines, and manages changing priorities with limited direction. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • -Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • -Sit for extended periods of time.
  • -Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to monitors, laptops, etc.
  • -Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • -Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, etc.).
