Overview

The Marketing Web Strategist coordinates and develops the delivery, planning and implementation of the overall website strategy. This includes working with various departments to plan development needs, content structure and all things needed for an effective company web presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and govern additional subdomains need for business operations
  • Generate and implement ideas for new web strategies.
  • Coordinate with marketing management in approving website requests and development.
  • Manage campaign development and progress for items centralized on the corporate website.
  • Utilize available data for increased member engagement and site performance.
  • Recommend and manage use of other data acquired through third parties for use in web-based marketing efforts.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of best practices within web development, including SEO and other necessary strategies.
  • Help develop marketing matrices or analytics to track and report engagement.
  • Maintain marketing relationships with internal departments to ensure needs are fulfilled effectively.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns, initiatives, and events as related to the corporate website.
  • Maintain a knowledge of competitor web presence and strategy.
  • Represent the Credit Union at community events as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Web Development, Marketing, or a related field. 5+ years experience in managing websites or corporate level web strategies. Preferred knowledge of WordPress, HTML/CSS, PHP, SEO, SQL, JavaScript, and web analytics. Effective UX/UI design for multi-screen, languages, and accessibility. Preferably some financial industry experience. Have strong business, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

 

Performance Standard:

 

A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Ability to analyze member needs, develop, and coordinate marketing activities to fit member needs with Credit Union products and services. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union. Team member will be asked to work extended/unique hours.

 

Position Specific Additional Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting 70-80 pounds (items include money machine, coolers, tables, and other miscellaneous equipment).
  • Local travel, where a company vehicle is provided.
  • Adequate auto insurance for driving while conducting company business.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
