As a Dispute Resolution Specialist, you will performs various duties regarding dispute processing, resolution, and maintaining department efficiency. Ensure member satisfaction through courteous, accurate, and efficient service.

Responsibilities

At work, your Primary Responsibilities will include:

  • Review, investigate, and process transaction disputes for cards, ACH, checks, Zelle, ATM, and other related transactional fraud claims
  • Provide support to team members and others to ensure proper claim documentation and resolution
  • Work with vendors and partners to complete assigned tasks
  • Understand applicable regulations and compliance requirements
  • Assisting with maintaining credit union policies, procedures, and training
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred. 0-3 years' experience preferred. Excellent math skills and computer knowledge. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records

 

Performance Standard:

A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff. Logical, process-oriented thinker with a natural sense of urgency. Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical details. Accurate in balancing and account research. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
