Overview

The Business Analyst Manager will manage assigned IT Business Analysts and provide business analysis and project management for the implementation of technology solutions for the Credit Union.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise assigned staff, including scheduling; assigning and directing work; orienting new employees; overseeing or conducting training; coaching; completing team responsibility for evaluating and appraising work; addressing complaints and resolving problems; taking disciplinary action; and ensuring quality of work.
  • Within the KeyedIn project management system, manage Portfolios, Programs, and Projects both waterfall and agile processes.
  • Work directly with business lines throughout the organization to assist in determining business requirements, make recommendations for appropriate solutions and develop new process to achieve improved efficiency. This may require use of alternative data collection methods, data organization, data analysis, custom reporting, cost analysis and advanced spreadsheet design.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Credit Union team members and 3rd party vendors to implement solutions to satisfy business needs while maintaining a vision (road map) for future needs.
  • Prepare business case proposals and develop thorough project plans including project scope, schedule, resources, budget and risks.
  • Work with IT Stakeholders and project sponsors to identify changing business priorities
  • Partner with business units throughout the organization to understand workflows, processes, data collection, reporting needs and other technical issues associated with application software. Develop and implement process improvement recommendations to satisfy business unit functions and goals.
  • Mapping and documenting interfaces between systems.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met.
  • Lead implementation of a new systems including data migration.
  • Planning and working flexibly to meet deadlines.
  • Vendor Management
  • Write technical policies, procedures and documentation for systems/applications/Products implemented including user guides, troubleshooting guides, etc.
  • Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in business, Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience required. 5+ years in IT related project management or business analyst experience. 2+ years of management/supervisor experience preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to communicate effectively with Executive Management and Credit Union personnel. Work under tight schedules and deadlines. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records.

 

Performance Standard:

High level of professionalism. A demonstrated ability to work well with others. Make recommendations to meet the goals and objectives of the Credit Union functions, procedures, and policies. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
