As the President of Business Relationship you are responsible to promote and service Credit Union deposit products and services to small business owners throughout the community and lead the growth of the department. Coach the Business Relationship team in sales and account servicing functions. Provide assistance and training to branch team members in areas related to business services.
-Provide the leadership to establish and sustain successful business member relationships that emphasize deposits and provide additional products and services from the credit union.
-Establish the day-to-day business practices necessary to build an ongoing small business relationship team within the Credit Union, including sales, account servicing, annual goal setting, training, technology, marketing, etc.
-Take a leadership role in representing the Credit Union to the local small business market in order to build awareness, brand image, credibility and new business.
-Actively participates in community business organizations.
-Assure high standards for member satisfaction in all areas of team operations including resolution of member service issues, complaints and problems.
-Assure profitability of the Business Relationship area by generating revenue and managing expenses based on annual approved budgets and Credit Union goals.
-Assure compliance of all business services with the Credit Union policies and recommend policy changes and adjustments. Assure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory guidelines and oversee development of any necessary changes in procedures to assure compliance.
-Assure the credit union's on-going ability to be our members' preferred source for financial products by participating in the development of new and responsive products and services.
-Maintain in-depth product knowledge on all business services; able to provide quality referrals on business loans, merchant bankcards, Preferred Pay and other business products.
-Work closely with branch staff and other key business member contact positions to enhance sales efforts throughout the Credit Union.
-Cross-train team members as part of sales efforts; may conduct formal training on products and sales techniques.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Five or more years of business banking experience required. Ability to work under pressure and organize tasks for optimal performance. Excellent communication, relationship building and sales skills. Ability to lead a sales team.
Must take pride in department, always meeting and exceeding member's expectations. Must be professional and courteous in manner, with a focus on attendance, quality and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
-Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
-Sit for extended periods of time.
-Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
-Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
-Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
