    As a Business Development Manager your primary function will be to create and maintain a positive public image for the Credit Union. You will oversee promotion of the Credit Union through various methods. You are expected to build market position by generating revenue by business development officers acquiring new customers and by helping close new transactions with existing customers.


    1. Coach and Staff members to achieve sales results and new business. Create a positive morale and environment
    2. Motivate and monitor sales results to hit targets.
    3. Develop internal/external referral sources through participation in Credit Union events, community activities, and participation in professional groups.
    4. Plan and execute events in our communities with favorable results.
    5. Responsible for knowing all Credit Union products and services.
    6. Develop consistency in all areas of Business Development.
    7. Deliver monthly one-on-ones and yearly reviews.
    8. Facilitate MAP discussions quarterly.
    9. Partner with Branch Management and Executive team to ensure alignment and consistency with Business Development Officers.



    Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in marketing, business, finance, or related experience.  Ability to work with and communicate with all personnel and departments.  Ability to give group presentations and create innovative marketing strategies.  Previous sales experience is desirable. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records at all times.


    Increased growth in all business development areas. Complete knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures. Ability to market the Credit Union at every opportunity and make suggestions for improvement. Ability to work independently to meet the job requirements. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.


    Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.)  Sit for extended periods of time.  Lifting 70-80 pounds (items include money machine, coolers, tables, other miscellaneous equipment). Extensive local travel, this is a driving position and a company vehicle is provided. Adequate auto insurance for driving while conducting company business. Maintain a valid drivers license.
