    As a Private Banking manager, you will be responsible for the overall Private Banking line of business, expanding market share through new relationships as well as through organic growth. The position will lead a team of Private Banking Relationship Officers focused on meeting the financial and relationship needs of the Credit Union's high net worth members.

    Responsibilities

    1. Lead the Private Banking team, overseeing all aspects of the business line strategy, product and service delivery, and member service activities
    2. Develop products, services, and delivery strategies to promote Private Banking products throughout the state of Idaho.
    3. Proactively investigates opportunities to expand private client market share by working with prospects and existing members.  Works closely with Credit Union partners in the business area and other internal sources
    4. Understand regulatory, risk and compliance management as it impacts the target member segment, products, services and delivery.  Recommend and implement operations, processes, and procedures that support goals while improving member impact
    5. Train the Private Banking team to develop strategic action plans with members that are tailored to their situation and oversee their application.  Coordinate periodic reviews with Private Bankers and members to determine additional products and services to meet their needs
    6. Develops and promotes relationships with other managers and the executive team to ensure the members are properly handled according to the service standards created at the Credit Union
    7. Develop, generate and follow-up on new member leads through various channels, including self-sourced prospects, existing members, and referrals from other departments
    8. Cultivates strong community relations to develop a pipeline of quality prospects and referral sources
    9. Other duties as assigned

     

     

    Qualifications

    Bachelors degree with 5-10 years similar or related experience.  Ability to work under pressure and in an organized manner. Excellent communication and people skills. 

     
    Must take pride in department by processing loans in a timely and efficient manner with a high attention to detail.  Must be professional and courteous in manner, with a focus on attendance, quality and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.

     

    Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.)  Sit for extended periods of time.  Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies (copy paper, computer paper, mail, etc).  Repetitive motion using wrists, and fingers.  Reach keyboards.  Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc).
