Under general direction, this position’s primary responsibility includes all aspects of portfolio management as it relates to assigned portfolio loans. Additional responsibilities will include the facilitating of comprehensive credit analysis that evaluates the existing facilities in the portfolio. Provide assistance to Regional Managers daily duties in monitoring existing credit for annual reviews and necessary covenant and reporting requirements.
-Facilitates the preparation of credit underwriting and analysis of existing loans in connection with renewals, modifications and all aspects of monitoring.
a. Detailed analysis of financial statements
b. Detailed collateral analysis
c. Detailed analysis of debt service and covenant compliance
d. Review of credit risk rating
e. Borrower and Guarantor analysis
-Assist loan officers in managing past due and maturing loans.
-Prepares periodic reviews of existing loans to assess credit quality and covenant compliance.
-Receive and review periodic reporting provided by customers to ensure borrowing base availability as well as to monitor performance.
-Receive, review and approve periodic construction draws provided by customers to ensure proper disbursement activities.
-Assist with various business loan duties such as balancing General Ledger’s, and working on reports both for the lending department as well as reports submitted to Executive Management and the Board.
-Assist loan officers to ensure customers are being serviced as needed.
-Communicate with Business Loan Officers and Underwriters throughout the annual review process.
-Other projects and duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Requires at least 3-5 years commercial underwriting and portfolio management experience with in depth knowledge of income statements, tax returns and other financial documentation. Must have the ability to work under pressure and organize tasks for optimal performance. Requires excellent organizational, communication, and relationship building skills.
Must take pride in department by processing loans in a timely and efficient manner with a high attention to detail.Must be professional and courteous in manner, with a focus on details, attendance, quality and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.) Sit for extended periods of time. Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies (copy paper, computer paper, mail, etc). Repetitive motion using wrists, and fingers. Reach keyboards. Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc).
