    Under general direction, this position’s primary responsibility is to aid in the underwriting, processing and servicing of commercial and residential construction loan applications. You will assist in the preparation of business loan docs for closings, fund new construction loans, and assist in preparing annual reviews for commercial construction borrowers.




    1. Build relationships with outside vendors including, contractors, sub-contractors, inspectors, title, etc. to assist in growing loan opportunities for the departments.
    2. Assist Loan Officers, Underwriters and Processors in the development and growth of the department while building relationships with both members and contractors.
    3. Monitor commercial and/or residential construction budgets and identify financial risks.
    4. Interact with borrower/contractor clients for receipt, ordering and review of construction draw requests.
    5. Work with outside inspectors and maintain reports to ensure inspections are received in a timely manner and meet internal guidelines.
    6. Keep members and contractors updated with status and progress of draw disbursements.
    7. Work with members and contractors to resolve questions and/or concerns during the draw period.
    8. Compile and analyze monthly reports that evaluate operations, financial, scheduled performance for the construction portfolio.
    9. Work with outside financial institutions or CUSOs on existing or new participation requests.
    10. Assist Loan Officers and Underwriters with orders, verifications, and file requirements throughout the loan closing process.
    11. Perform various post-closing duties on loan files such as following up on the receipt of final title policies and deeds, paying fees, and quality control.
    12. Assist and prepare annual reviews for commercial construction and commercial real estate loans.
    13. Assist with various business loan duties such as balancing General Ledger’s, and working on reports.
    14. Other duties as assigned.




    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Excellent data processing and computer skills with an eye for detail. Ability to work under pressure and in an organized manner. Excellent communication and people skills.


    Must take pride in department by processing loans in a timely and efficient manner with a high attention to detail. Must be professional and courteous in manner, with a focus on attendance, quality and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.


    Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.). Sit for extended periods of time. Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies (copy paper, computer paper, mail, etc.). Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers. Reach keyboards. Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
