As a Senior Lending Compliance Analyst, you primary function is to specialize in and provide oversight and risk management for all areas of lending compliance for Consumer, Indirect, Mortgage, and Commercial lending. Responsible for auditing lending processes and practices and training lending and compliance team members in all lending regulations. Act as liaison between Compliance and Lending Senior Management in regulatory compliance in general and during new product/service development specifically.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Qualifications include a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in lending compliance and working with examiners. Should have a strong knowledge of all lending regulations in Commercial, Mortgage, and Consumer lending including ECOA, HMDA, Truth in Lending, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Military Lending Act, TRID, SCRA, RESPA, SAFE Act, and NCUA Rules and Regulations. Knowledge of lending regulations under the Idaho Credit Code and the Idaho Credit Union Act is preferable. Knowledge of risk management practices and the ability to assess and document risk and audit associated controls, processes, policies, and procedures. Ability to work with and communicate with all Credit Union personnel in the various departments. Ability to maintain confidentiality of Credit Union and member records at all times.
A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff. Accurate in balancing and account research. Be able to diagnose problems. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Ability to work without supervision. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.). Sit for extended periods of time. Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc. Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers. Reach keyboards. Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
