The Business Relationship Officer is responsible for cross-selling and retaining business banking relationships with current businesses at ICCU. This position is also responsible for developing strong branch relationships by attending monthly meetings/HDLs, providing business related training and providing coaching for Business Certified branch team members in order to achieve high performance on business account audits.
The Business Relationship Officer will work with the Business Relationship Account Specialists and Business Loan Officers to serve as the business service and support resource for all branches and departments in the ICCU footprint. Reporting to the Business Relationship Manager, the Business Relationship Officer identifies, pursues and implements growth opportunities with current business members not already served by Business Relationship Officers.
The Business Relationship Officer’s primary means of interacting with members and prospects will be through telephone and email correspondence as well as face to face meetings in a branch. The Business Relationship Officer is responsible for achieving assigned sales and business audit goals.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. One to three years sales experience preferred. Ability to work under pressure and organize tasks for optimal performance. Excellent communication, relationship building and sales skills.
Achieves assigned sales goals. Must take pride in department, always meeting and exceeding member’s expectations. Must be professional and courteous in manner, with a focus on details, attendance, quality and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.) Sit for extended periods of time. Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies (copy paper, computer paper, mail, etc). Repetitive motion using wrists, and fingers. Reach keyboards. Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc).
Must be eligible for membership at Idaho Central Credit Union to obtain employment.
