    We are looking for an Indirect Loan Processor in the Indirect Lending Department. As an Indirect Loan Processor your primary function is that you will be responsible for processing faxed applications from dealers and funding loans within the requirements of the loan policies established by the Credit Union. You will also perform other clerical duties as assigned.


    1. Prepare, Fund and merge loans.
    2. Perform employment verifications/income verifications, insure accuracy of loan contracts and make decision within limits. 
    3. File and organize all incoming and outgoing documents for example: Signature cards, applications, and contracts.
    4. Maintain and mail welcome letters, process indirect cross sell visa offers.
    5. Assist in Month end balancing and report preparation.
    6. Participate on department and credit union projects that pertain to indirect funder duties.
    7. Assist dealer processors in completing loans with correct and accurate information.  Communicate and build relationships with dealer processors.
    8. Communicate over the phone issues or concerns with dealers as well as visit face to face.
    9. Review incoming contracts to verify required information is compliant with checklist.
    10. Daily record keeping on incoming loans and distributing files to the appropriate branch.
    11. Working knowledge of Word and Excel with the ability to write proposals and develop spreadsheets pertaining to department functions.
    12. Other duties as assigned.



    Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred. Ability to cope with pressured situations. Knowledge of general lending policies. Understands Credit Union goals and objectives. Ability in math, 10 key, and computer. Ability to complete work accurately with minimal supervision. Must be detail oriented. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records at all times. Excellent communication and people skills.


    A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward dealers and other Credit Union staff. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Self-motivated and takes steps to continually expand knowledge of financial industry. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.


    Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.). Sit for extended periods of time. Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies (copy paper, computer paper, mail, etc.). Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers. Reach keyboards. Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).


    Must be eligible for membership at Idaho Central Credit Union to obtain employment.
