Responsibilities

  1. Interview and review loan applicants, and make sound and effective decisions.
  2. Process and disburse loans.
  3. Notarize documents as determined by branch requirements.
  4. Open new accounts, certificates, IRA’s. Pull credit reports and analyze eligibility for checking accounts and any/all applicable cross-sell opportunities.
  5. Research and make appropriate corrections for members with account problems.
  6. Handle deceased account until the account is closed or owner roles are changed.
  7. Handle direct deposit and payroll setup and problems.
  8. Cross sell Credit Union products and services, and maintain acceptable levels of Game of Work Sales goals and insurance penetration.
  9. Close Member Contact Center and MRA loans.
  10. Handles forgery claims, levies, and garnishments.
  11. Continuous focus on meeting all NPS goals and Eagle Service standards.
  12. Keep your manager informed of member needs or desires in regard to products, services, suggestions, and/or escalations.
  13. Work weekly and monthly bad data reports with an emphasis on accuracy first.
  14. Back up the teller line, as necessary.
  15. Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, have the ability to determine member needs and promote Credit Union services, ensure accuracy in all areas of work, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union records. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union. Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, etc.)  Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.  Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies (copy paper, computer paper, mail, etc).  Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.  Reach keyboards.  Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc).
