If you can answer yes to these questions Idaho Central Credit Union is ready for you to join our team!  We are looking for an Information Systems - Systems Analyst on our Core Team team to be responsible for operation of computer software and related systems. In addition, the ideal candidate will have responsibility to analyze and evaluate user problems.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide programming and report writing for some in-house IT projects
  2. Perform SQL administration in live and test environments.
  3. Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide support and troubleshooting of our users.
  4. Take part in sustaining a quality support environment, wherein the department works to support the branches with ordinary and extraordinary day to day tasks.
  5. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software application issues.
  6. Assist in managing relationships with 3rd party vendors to resolve development and programming issues.
  7. Oversees and controls the computer software and related hardware and communication systems.
  8. Analyze data contained in the corporate database and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions.
  9. Write technical policies, procedures, and documentation for the applications including user guides, troubleshooting guides, etc.
  10. Participate in weekly meetings with the IT team to discuss progress and issues to be resolved
  11. Manage the information flow to members, Administration, branch levels, and external interested parties.
  12. Review and monitor system log files to help maintain the health of all assigned systems and report to the Core Team Manager and Vice President of Information Systems any unauthorized and/or inappropriate accesses.
  13. Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving IT software issues.
  14. Complete miscellaneous tasks and projects as requested.

Qualifications

A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment. Preference given for post-secondary degree in computer science/computer information systems, or related field or a combination of related experience and education with project management experience. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours. Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with other department supervisors.  Knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications. Technical experience with enterprise systems, databases, and user support. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records at all times.

 

High level of professionalism. A demonstrated ability to work well with others. Understand and direct computer system and implement resolution to system problems.  Make recommendations to meet the goals and objectives of the Credit Union functions, procedures, and policies. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution, solve problems and make sound decisions under pressure. Strong organizational skills.  Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.

 

Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, etc.)  Sit for extended periods of time.  Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies (copy paper, computer paper, mail, etc).  Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.  Reach keyboards.  Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc).

 

Must be eligible for membership at Idaho Central Credit Union to obtain employment.
