As a Systems Administrator your primary function is to provide IT software system administration and support. You will also have the responsibility for evaluating, troubleshooting, and resolving end user problems.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage user setup, system configuration and maintenance activity of multiple lending systems.
  2. Effectively and quickly resolve day-to-day system issues by troubleshooting and working with ICCU team members, different IT teams and 3rd party vendors.
  3. Provide outstanding service by identifying defects, tracking support issues in ICCU's help desk system, and communicating findings with the proper support team.
  4. Perform system testing to identify and report usability issues relating to the application, verifying bug fixes provided by developers, and taking appropriate action based on the correctness of the fixes.
  5. Work directly with the various Lending Business Lines and 3rd party vendors to resolve system issues and implement solutions to satisfy business needs.
  6. Collaborate with Business Analyst and System Analyst partners to analyze, recommend, and coordinate system upgrades, identify business needs, process improvements, and ensure successful project implementation.
  7. Configure, test and implement fixes and upgrades in multiple environments.
  8. Review logs and other system metrics ensuring systems of ownership are running optimally.
  9. Develop custom reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.  
  10. Write technical policies, procedures, and documentation for the applications including user guides, troubleshooting guides, etc.
  11. Additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications

A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment. Preference given for post-secondary degree in computer science/computer information systems, or related field or a combination of related experience and education. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours. Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with other department supervisors.  Knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications. Technical experience with enterprise systems, databases, and user support. Report writing and SQL skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records at all times.

 

High level of professionalism. A demonstrated ability to work well with others. Ability to learn direct computer system and implement resolution to system problems. Make recommendations to meet the goals and objectives of the Credit Union functions, procedures, and policies. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution, solve problems and make sound decisions under pressure. Strong organizational skills. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.

 

Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, etc.)  Sit for extended periods of time.  Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies (copy paper, computer paper, mail, etc.).  Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.  Reach keyboards.  Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
